Description
Early “Maison Jansen” wall console of the late 40s from France in the typical “Louis Seize” style. The console is made of beige and gold painted wood and stucco with a loose-lying glass cover. Rarely are the figurative carvings with the motif of the Pan and the Medusa. The console is in its original state, is not referred to, but is attributed to “Maison Jansen”. Draft probably Stphane Boudin.
