Description
A fun and playful contemporary modernist style painting on wood, dated 2023. with a focus on bold colours and shapes, this graphic composition features a variety of circles and semi circles arranged on a mustard yellow surface. Over these painted shapes, the artist has created further lines that cross and intersect over the shapes, adding to the textural effect. Further to this, the wooden panels are a combination of 2 separate two pieces that have been fitted together, adding a constructed sculptural element to the artwork. Painted with emulsion and varnished, the panels are presented in a tray frame, appearing to float within, giving the painting its modern feel. The painted panels and frame are in excellent condition.
