Description
Rare pair of SE18 chairs by the Belgian designers Claire Bataille and Paul Ibens, produced by ‘t Spectrum. This model was only produced from 1971 until 1974. Very limited compared to other models by ‘t Spectrum, hence their rarity.
Very intersting design with the double tubing holding the leather seats and back. Steel tubular frame with thick saddle leather seat and back, finished in black. By the years the leather has developped a stunning patina in shades of brown. What a pair.
For the collector connaisseur!
The condition of these chairs is very good. No rust to the steel frame. The leather is still firm, has NO RIPS and is well nourished. Ready for another decade of use.
