* Andrzej Pgowski (born April 19, 1953 in Warsaw) is a Polish graphic designer and poster artist. Pgowski’s works have been exhibited in Poland and abroad (Barcelona, Brussels, London, Paris, Stockholm). On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of his artistic activity in 2017, retrospectives of his life’s work were shown in various Polish cities. His works are in the collections of several museums, such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Center Pompidou in Paris. The Museum of Modern Art in New York has included the poster Umiech wilka (Wolf’s Smile or Wolf Smile) in its permanent collection as one of the 100 best posters in the world.
