INFORMATION: Marc Chagall began engraving the copperplates illustrating La Fontaine’s “The Fables” from 1927. The print was completed on the presses of Atelier Haasen in 1952.
A photocopy of the proof of the print signed by Chagall will be attached to the engraving.
