Absolutely fantastic painting in saturated beautiful colour and thick impasto paint from c 1960’s of still life.
Visual artist and musician. (Gsta Alvar Falck). Born 1920 in Svarteborg, Bohusln, died 2006. Falck was self-taught. As a young man, Falck played the violin in an orchestra. When he began his career as an artist, he painted mostly figuratively with softly held landscapes from Bohusln and floral still lifes in oil or watercolour, during the 1960s he changed the style to a more abstract painting.
Both painting and frame in very good vintage condition.
