Description

A piece unique planter or jardiniere by the Danish ceramist and artist Aksel Hansen. Made in his own studio in Denmark circa 1940-50. It features two androgynous faces in relief – one to each side. It is executed in white and green glazes. The white glaze is delicate and thin leaving the edges/facets partially exposed. Signed AH beneath its base. Measurements: D/W: 17/17 cm, Diameter: 12 cm, Height: 13 cm.
