Description
Emile Vloors Woman in Prayer 1894 oil painting on canvas depicting the interior of a church with an elderly lady sitting gathered in prayer near a hanging altar dedicated to the Virgin. In good condition, it is signed Emile Vloors ’94 Bruges on the bottom left and is presented in a modern ebonized oak frame. Albert mile Vloors or Emil Vloors, born in Borgerhout on 31 May 1871 and died in Antwerp on 29 December 1952 and was a Belgian painter and sculptor.
