Description
Herbarium boards assembled under a frame (acrylic glass and wood).
These plates, from a herbarium dating from the 18th century (18th), are formatted in a contemporary setting.
Titled in pen, the pages of the herbarium are in very good general condition. Some s are also readable, associated with plants (origin of the plant, for example).
Like the painted naturalist plates of the 18th century, these herbaria were used to know and recognize the different families and subspecies of plants.
A rare and particularly aesthetic set, which will find its place perfectly in a decoration inspired by cabinets of curiosities, for example.
Acrylic glass will benefit from being changed or even replaced by glass.
