Description
This mid-century wall light was designed and manufactured in France in the 1950s. The lamp is mounted on a brass wall bracket with an articulating arm that can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. The arm has a smooth, polished brass finish typical of mid-century design, and it is height-adjustable along the vertical rod fixed to the wall. The shade has an open, airy design made of rattan, featuring a crisscross pattern that gives it a light and sculptural appearance. The woven structure adds a natural, bohemian touch to the sleek brass elements. The piece embodies a blend of mid-century modern and Scandinavian design influences, with clean lines and a functional, yet decorative, appearance. The combination of brass and natural rattan creates a warm and inviting look. This lamp would work well as an accent light in a living room, bedroom, or reading nook, providing a stylish and adjustable lighting option. The light has been rewired with new fabric cord. It requires one E14 bulb and comes with a continental European 2-pin plug and adapter for use in US. All lighting is converted for US usage.
