1960’s Bentwood Debrecen Simple Framed Dining Chairs – Set Of Four. Good set of four chairs by the Hungarian producer Debrecen it is hard to be precise about the origin of these chairs as little history is known, but what we do know is at the beginning of the 20th Century Debrecen was a bentwood maker in Hungary. Three major producers existed in Hungary, producing chairs in various factories throughout the Austro Hungarian empire. These chairs are 1960’s, they are not labelled Debrecen but we are confident they are. Beautiful surviving and fascinating chairs. All our chairs pass through our own workshop where they are gently serviced, cleaned and waxed.
