Extremely stylish and sturdy chair
50s
Frame made of light-colored wood with really beautiful wickerwork in the backrest, which gives the robust seating furniture elegance.
Seat covered with pistachio green washable imitation leather – lightly upholstered
very sturdy wooden frame, heavy — with plenty of small marks, quirks and scratches – has not been well cared for, but now accepts wood care well&thankfully
The chairs were part of a restaurant seating arrangement and have withstood the corresponding wear and tear very well.
We were unable to locate a manufacturer or find a comparable model – it is possible that they were custom-made.
After more than 60 years of “work” they still look great, not a bit rattly – visibly, but very nicely aged!
